Cloud Security Architect

Srija Reddy Allam is currently working as a Cloud Security Architect at Fortinet, where she partners with global customers to design, architect, and deploy Fortinet’s full suite of security solutions in public cloud environments. In this role, she engages directly with enterprises across industries, guiding them on securing critical workloads, applications, and data as they scale and modernize in the cloud. Her work spans the Fortinet portfolio, ensuring customers adopt solutions that align with both their business goals and regulatory requirements.

Srija serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Web Application and API Security (WAAP), specializing in protecting modern applications and microservices-driven architectures. She helps organizations implement Web Application Firewall and API protection capabilities to defend against advanced web and API-based attacks. With a focus on AI/ML-driven threat detection and adaptive protection, she enables enterprises to stay ahead of evolving attack techniques while ensuring resilience, application availability, and compliance with global standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.

Her role also extends into architectural workshops, proof-of-concepts, and technical enablement sessions, where she translates complex cloud and security challenges into clear, practical strategies. She is skilled at integrating security alongside cloud-native services on platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure, building environments where protection is seamlessly embedded by design. Known for her ability to simplify technical concepts, she bridges the gap between strategy and implementation, enabling organizations to innovate with confidence while maintaining governance and trust.

Beyond her professional role, Srija is an active contributor to the cybersecurity community. She serves on the ISC2 Taskforce Committee, advancing professional standards, ethics, and global best practices. She is also involved in Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), collaborating with industry peers to develop frameworks addressing cloud security and AI-driven risks. As a CISSP and CCSP-certified professional, she has contributed to shaping certification content and knowledge frameworks, helping strengthen the professional development cyber security. In addition, Srija has been a speaker at leading conferences and webinars, including SANS, Infosec, Microsoft Azure Ignite, and Oracle Cloud World, where she shares insights on cloud security, application protection, and industry trends. She has also been featured on podcasts, further extending her voice to global audiences and fostering dialogue on the future of cybersecurity.

Prior to her current role, Srija gained diverse experience working across different industries in the field of network and security. These positions shaped her expertise in networking, solution delivery, and customer engagement. Srija holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She continues to be recognized as a trusted advisor and industry voice, dedicated to advancing cloud security and shaping the future of the cybersecurity profession.
